Arts for Art is pleased to announce Jazz Libre! 2022, a 4-night program in partnership with The Clemente. Jazz Libre! is an annual event (now in its 11th year) highlighting the music of the African Diaspora in Latin America. This year we feature musicians from Cuba, Argentina, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and more.

“I put this project together to highlight the music of indigenous peoples of Latin America, intertwining the Blues within Black Creative Improvised Music.”
-William Parker on his project, Southern Satellites, to be presented at Jazz Libre! 2022
“From the African American experience has always been the art form that reflects Survival first and the question of how to be free in an oppressive social environment, manifesting the freedom of the human spirit …”
