Arts for Art (AFA) announces “FAMILY GATHERING” and we invite all lovers of the Arts to join this MULTI-CULTURAL and MULTI-GENERATIONAL creative community in a celebration to kick off our Artists & Friends Fundraiser. The Artists & Friends Fundraiser was initiated in 2014 by AFA Artist, COOPER-MOORE, in an impassioned plea to fellow artists to support AFA and amplify the need for audience & friends to extend their support as well.
“The future is in the hands of a new generation of artists, who stand on the shoulders of artists who came before,” Arts for Art Founder, Patricia Nicholson explains. “The great elders are still paving an inspiring path forward. Along with promoting the highest standards of creative excellence, this path includes SELF-DETERMINATION, a tool that sustains us in an uncertain future. The artists are rising up and we all need to hold space for them.”
On Saturday, November 19th at the Flamboyan Theater at The Clemente, AFA hosts a night of INSPIRING performances, featuring only a few of the groundbreaking Artists in our community. “FAMILY GATHERING” will be a night to remember!
