Published in 2001, Vision brings together essays, conversations, poetry, photography, visual art, and reflections from artists and organizers connected to the festival. The book looks back at the early history of Vision Festival and the downtown New York creative scene that shaped it, while documenting the artists, collaborations, and ideas at its core.

Featuring contributions and conversations with artists including William Parker, Fred Anderson, Karen Borca, Jemeel Moondoc, Steve Dalachinsky, Yuko Otomo, and many others, the publication offers a rare snapshot of the festival’s evolving community and artistic spirit.
